At work I’m quoting and specifying monitoring systems for clients who want to know their cold rooms are holding, and running calibrations and validation at Ramcare, with the ISO/IEC 17025 evidence ready for UKAS. A lot of my evenings go into the small Python and AI tools that take the paperwork out of it.

Outside work there’s a project I’m keeping quiet about. More when it’s ready.

I’m reading To Sell Is Human by Daniel Pink. Its argument is that most jobs now involve persuading someone, which is a fair description of the commercial half of mine.
